Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 is an All Metal Tablet with Intel SoC

Alongside the Redmi Note 3, Xiaomi also unveiled the new Mi Pad 2 - the successor to the original Mi Pad. The updated model has a more premium feel, thanks to the full metal body design and it's slimmer and lighter than its predecessor.

Speaking of which, the new Mi Pad 2 is now has an all-aluminium body that is only 6.95 mm thick compared to the 8.5 mm of the previous model, which is 18% thinner than before. At the same time, the Mi Pad 2 is 38 grams lighter despite having a full metal body.

For the pass few years, Microsoft's Surface has always been a solid hybrid tablet that designed to replace your laptop. Now, we have the Surface Pro 4, it's lighter, thinner and faster than any previous Surface Pro model. It looks pretty much the same to last year's model, but it's slimmer at 8.4 mm and packs a larger 12.3-inch display.

The new display comes with Microsoft's PixelSense technology, with a gorgeous 12.3-inch (2736 x 1824) screen and 3:2 aspect ratio; it features 267 ppi and pushes over 5 millions pixels, supports 100 percent sRGB color, 1300:1 contrast ratio and has up to 10 point multi-touch with GPU-based processing.

Asus ZenFone 2 Finally Landed in Malaysia with All Four Variants of ZenFone 2


Last Saturday, Asus Malaysia has finally launched the ZenFone 2 in conjunction to the "Incredible Zen Day" consumer event. The highly-anticipated ZenFone 2 will be available in all four variants: the ZE551 ML (both 4 GB and 2 GB models), ZE550ML and ZE500CL.

The price? The new ZenFone 2 is quite affordable as the price start from RM599 for the base model 5-inch ZE500CL. For those looking for the flagship 5.5-inch model with a whopping 4 GB of RAM, the price goes all the way up to RM1,299.

Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi Launches in Malaysia


The Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi has finally arrived in Malaysia. The new Transformer Book Chi series comes in three different models and the company has decided to release only the largest Transformer Book Chi T300 into Malaysian market.

The hybrid 2-in-1 device features a 12.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS display. The T300 Chi is powered by a 1.2 GHz Intel Core M-5Y71 Dual-core processor with 4 GB of RAM plus a 128 GB solid state drive.

Asus EeeBook X205 - the Slimmest and Lightest 11.6-inch Notebook


Meet the new stylish Asus EeeBook X205 - an affordable, lightweight  and compact 11.6 inch laptop. The EeeBook weighs less than 1 kg and it's the perfect companion for on-the-go students and young professionals. The 17.5 mm ultra-slim laptop is powered by an Intel Atom Z3735 Quad-core 1.33 GHz processor.

Meet the Asus ZenFone 2 - Featuring 5.5-inch Full HD Display, 64-bit Intel Atom Processor and Up to 4GB of RAM


The Taiwanese company has proudly presented the sequel of its popular ZenFone series smartphone at CES 2015 in Las Vegas. The brand new Asus phone dubbed as the ZenFone 2.

The ZenFone 2 sports a 5.5 inch 1080p IPS display with a pixel density of 403 ppi and protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The device has a brushed-metal design, rear-mounted volume key and a 72% screen-to-body ratio.

Nokia the once top notch brand, have something new and surprise for its loyalty brand consumers - Nokia revealed the N1 Android tablet, their first brand-licensed product. As a Nokia fans, we were glad and excited too see the Nokia brand return.

In fact, the N1 is not manufactured and distributed by Nokia. Foxconn is. However, the N1's hardware and software is designed and written by Nokia. The N1 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Nokia's Z launcher.

Computex 2014: Asus Introduces Plenty of New Devices


The Computex 2014 started from June 3-7 in Taipei, Taiwan. The Taiwan based company - Asus, debuted a series of new devices ranging from hybrid devices to smartphones and tablets.

The Asus Transformer Book V is a hybrid device of laptop, tablet and smartphone. First of all, it features a 12.5 inch laptop/tablet hybrid part that runs Windows 8.1 based on Intel Core processor. Then you have a 5 inch smartphone that runs Android 4.4 with Zen UI and powered by a 64-bit Intel Atom (Moorefield) Quad-core CPU with LTE support.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is the Company Largest Tablet with 12-inch Display, Yet Slimmer and Lighter


On Tuesday, Microsoft announced the third generation of its Surface family tablet at a launch event in New York. Surprisingly, Microsoft break its tradition by introducing a larger Surface - the 12-inch Surface Pro 3, instead of 10.6 inch that found on the previous two generation Surface Pro.

Like its predecessor, the Surface Pro 3 will supports pen input and an improved Type Cover that transform it from tablet to laptop. The Surface Pro 3 has a 12 inch ClearType Full HD plus display with 2160 x 1440 resolution, an aspect ratio of 3:2 and powered by 4th generation Intel Core processor.

Introducing the Microsoft New Surface Pro 2 Tablet


Microsoft officially announced the successor to their original Surface Pro - the Surface Pro 2, a powerful tablet that faster than 95% of the laptops available today.

Under the hoods, the Surface Pro 2 is powered by an Intel Core i5 Haswell processor clocked at 1.6 GHz, you can choose from 4 GB or 8 GB of RAM and storage options from 64 GB up to 512 GB model. The new Haswell chip inside the Surface Pro 2 increases 20% overall performance than the original slate with 50% more colors accuracy, 50% more graphic performance and a massive 75% increased battery life.

Asus Transformer Book T100 Windows 8 Tablet


Back at the IFA 2013, Asus added the new Transformer Pad TF701T as its flagship Android tablet, and now it is the turn for Windows 8 tablet. Asus announced a new windows 8 tablet to its Transformer family, the Transformer Book T100 at the Intel Developer Forum (IDF) 2013.

The Transformer Book T100 is a 10.1 inch ultraportable notebook and tablet, just like the Transformer Pad series tablet, the Transformer Book T100 is detachable to use as a standalone Windows 8.1 tablet and attach to its keyboard to become a notebook.

It comes with a 10.1 inch 1366 x 768 IPS HD display, powered by the new Intel Atom Bay Trail Quad-core Z3740 processor, 2 GB of RAM, MicroSD card reader and runs on Windows 8.1. There are a micro-USB, micro-HDMI, and a single USB 3.0 port in the detachable dock.

The Transformer Book can last up to 11 hours on its 31 Wh battery and offer storage options of 32 GB or 64GB. It is to be hits the market on October 18 with the pricing of $349 (32 GB) and $399 (64 GB).

UPDATE: The Transformer Book T100 retails at RM1,299 for 32 GB and dock included.

UPDATE: Due to high demand of the tablet, the Asus Transformer Book T100 seems to be out of stock throughout country. Asus Malaysia is shipping new stocks and it is slightly different from the original model.

The tablet itself will remain the build-in 32 GB storage, but the keyboard is now feature a built-in 500 GB hard disk inside. With the extra 500 GB HDD into the dock, the price of the Transformer Book T100 goes up to RM1,399.

Sony First Windows 8 Tablet - VAIO Tap 11


Sony introduced a lineup of its new VAIO PCs which included a new form factor PC, VAIO - Flip PC, featuring the flexibility of a convertible with a laptop mode that is equal to a conventional clamshell PC, the world's thinnest (0.39") Windows 8 tablet with Intel Core Processor family, VAIO Tap 11 Tablet PC and the next evolution of the portable all-in-one PC - VAIO Tap 21, encompassing power and beautiful design.

We are now focusing at the company's first Windows 8 tablet, the VAIO Tap 11. Sony marketed it as the world's thinnest (0.39") Windows 8 Tablet PC with Intel Core Processor family.

To be available in two colors: white and balck, the VAIO Tap is a 11 inch device with a kickstand. It has a 1920 x 1080 IPS display that supports pen input, featuring an aluminum magnetic full pitch keyboard/cover with a touch pad, powered by fourth generation Intel Core processors with up to Core i7 and Solid State Drives for powerful performance.

The VAIO Tap 11 can stay up to 6 hours of battery life. It comes with a 8 MP rear camera, an SD card reader, USB 3.0 and micro HDMI as well as Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) - connect and display the tablet's screen to your compatible HDTV.
