Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro Announced with 108MP Camera, 90Hz AMOLED Display and Snapdragon 865

Xiaomi has officially unveiled its latest smartphone, the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. Both phones feature the Snapdragon 865 chipset, Quad cameras and 5G connectivity. Both phone support wireless charging and has a punch hole in display for the 20MP selfie camera.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro equipped with a 6.67-inch 2340 x 1080 FHD+ curved AMOLED display, the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and support HDR10+ as well as 90Hz refresh rate.

The main highlight of the Mi 10 Pro is the camera. The 108MP camera has a large 1/.133" sensor, f/1.69 aperture, 8P lens and with OIS. It's flanked by three other impressive cameras - a long 8MP telephoto lens supporting 10x hybrid zoom, a shorter 12MP 2x telephoto for portrait shots and a 20MP ultra-wide angle snapper.

The Mi 10 Pro comes with three configurations: 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM paired with 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage, 12GB RAM / 256 GB storage, and 12GB / 512GB.  On the inside there is a 4,500 mAh battery that can be charged at up to 50W through a cable, 30W wirelessly, and can output up to 10W for reverse charging your other gadgets.

The prices of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro are CNY4,999 (RM2,962), CNY5,499 (RM3,285) and CNY5,999 (RM3,554). It is already available for pre-oder in China and the phone is scheduled to arrive on February 18 in two colours - Blue and White.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 share the same 6.67-inch AMOLED screen and the main 108MP shooter on the back. Unfortunately it swap out both the telephoto cameras, replaced by a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro shooter. The ultra-wide lens is also downgraded to 13MP resolution.

The Mi 10 also comes with the speedy LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage. It has a slightly larger battery measured at 4,780 mAh battery, but only offers 30W wired charging. Fortunately it retains the 30W wireless charging as well as the 10W reverse charging.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 will go on sale starting February 14 and will be available in Green, Black and Peach. Prices start from CNY3,999 (RM2,370) for the 8GB / 128GB version, CNY4,299 (RM2,547) for an 8GB / 256GB model, and CNY4,699 (RM2,784) for the top 12GB / 256GB variant.
