Say Hello to Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra

Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+ & S20 Ultra

Samsung officially announced their 2020 flagship lineup, introducing the new Galaxy S20 series. The series consisted of Galaxy 20 and Galaxy S20+ as well as the Galaxy S20 Ultra is the most premium model in the series.

The trio smartphones come in three sizes, the Galaxy 20 is equipped with a 6.2-inch display while the larger Galaxy S20+ and  Galaxy S20 Ultra come with 6.7-inch and 6.9-inch dispay respectively. All three phones feature Dynamic AMOLED 2X Quad HD+ (3200 x 1440) resolution with HDR10+ and support 120Hz refresh rate.

One of the main selling point of the Galaxy S20 is the camera system. The Galaxy S20 and S20+ are equipped with a 12MP main camera with an f/1.8 lens alongside 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle lens and a 64MP f/2.0 telephoto camera. The Galaxy S20+ get an extra camera called DepthVision and for selfies, both the devices depend on a 10MP f/2.2 front camera.

On the other hand, the Galaxy S20 Ultra features a whopping 108MP f/1.8 main camera along with a 48MP f/3.5 telephoto camera, a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle lens and DepthVision camera. The handset also features a 40MP selfie camera with f/2.2 lens.

In addition, the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ has a 3x Hybrid Optical Zoom and 30x Super Resolution Zoom while Galaxy S20 Ultra capable of doing 10x Hybrid Optical Zoom and 100x Super Resolution Zoom.

In term of processing power, you get either the Snapdragon 865 or Exynos 990 processor depending on the country you're in, and paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of storage.

As far as battery sizes are concerned, the Galaxy S20 has a 4,000 mAh battery, the S20+ houses a 4,500 mAh battery, and the Galaxy S20 Ultra packed a huge 5,000 mAh battery. When it comes to fast charging support, the Galaxy S20 accepts up to 25W fast charge and Galaxy S20+ together with Galaxy S20 Ultra accept up to 45W Super Fast charge.

Other specs included IP68 water and dust resistance, Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, Wireless Powershare, 8K video recording, LTE and 5G support, Bluetooth 5, NFC and a microSD card slot. The Galaxy S20 series will be available starting from 6 March onward.
