Most of the flagship nowadays always come in two size, so there's no surprise that we're looking at Google announcing two new devices: the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL, as its 2019 flagship smartphones.
Both the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, paired with 6GB of RAM, either 64GB or 128GB of onboard storage, and no microSD expansion. In addition, it's also equipped with a Pixel Neural Core engine for secure face unlock and on-device processing.
As for the display size, the Pixel 4 come with a 5.7-inch FHD+ flexible OLED panel, while the Pixel 4 XL packs a larger 6.3-inch QHD+ OLED display. Both the phone's display support up to 90Hz refresh rate, 19:9 aspect ratio and protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
Camera-wise, Google finally upgraded to dual-camera module. Both the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL have a 12.2MP f/1.7 1.4 μm sensor with dual pixel PDAF, along with a 16MP f/2.4 1.0 μm telephoto lens for 2x zoom. Both sensors are equipped with optical and electronic stabilization. On the front, both the handsets houses an 8MP f/2.0 1.2 μm selfie camera.
On top of that, the Pixel 4 phones added a new motion-sensing Soli chip next to the front-facing camera sensor for face unlock and hand gestures features. The Pixel 4 will have a 2,800 mAh battery while the Pixel 4 XL is packed with a beefier 3,700 mAh battery.
