Meet the vivo's Flagship Duo - the X6 and X6 Plus with Metal and Glass Design
The Chinese phone manufacturer has finally announced their latest flagship smartphone, meet the vivo X6 and X6 Plus. The X6 has a 5.2-inch screen while the X6 Plus sports a 5.7-inch screen, both the screens feature a Super AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 resolution and 2.5D curved glass.
To be honest, both of these devices make one think of the newest iPhone. They have the same design similar to the iPhone with an aluminium chassis, the dual antenna bands and the protruded rear camera. Coincidentally, they even come in the Rose Gold colour option.
Basically, both smartphones are identical to each other, except for their screen size, built-in storage and battery capacity. Under the hood, they are powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6752 Octa-core CPU clocked at 1.7 GHz and coupled with 4 GB of RAM.
Other specs included a 13 MP f/2.2 phase detection autofocus (PDAF) camera, an 8 MP front-facing camera, a rear-mounted fingerprint reader, fast-charging technology and dual-SIM support, which the secondary slot can also acts as a microSD slot (support up to 128 GB card).
The X6 equipped with a 32 GB of internal storage and has a smaller 2,400 mAh battery. On the other hand, the X6 Plus sports a whopping 64 GB of internal storage and packs a 3,000 mAh battery. The X6 Plus also features a Hi-Fi sound technology with powerful ES9028 DAC audio chip, an ES9603 amplifier and a Yamaha YSS-205X digital surround sound chip.
Both handsets runs on the company's Funtouch OS based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The vivo X6 and X6 Plus will be available in Silver, Gold and Rose Gold. The flagship duo will go on sale in China starting from December 7. They are priced at CNY2,498 (about RM1,650) and CNY2,998 (about RM1,980) respectively.
