Asus at IFA 2013, announced the Fonepad 7, a 7 inch device that combines both smartphone and tablet functions into a piece of hardware which having a full telephony function with a tablet sized display.
This is the refreshed version of its original 7 inch Fonepad, which has a new non-slip finish and faster HSPA+ 3G with up to 42 Mbit/s download speeds, and dual front speakers with Asus SonicMaster audio technology.
Fonepad 7 spots an Intel Atom Z2560 processor with Hyper Threading technology that enhanced the multitasking performance. Running on Android 4.2, 7 inch 1280 x 800 resolution with IPS technology, an upgraded 5 MP rear camera (3.2 MP on the previous generation), 1.2 MP front camera, and has a 3.950 mAh battery on board. Internal storage of 8 GB, 16 GB or 32 GB and expandable via MicroHDSC card.
UPDATE: Asus FonePad 7 is now available and selling at RM999 (16 GB) and RM749 (8 GB).

Next are the two new Android tablets, the MeMo Pad 8 and MeMo Pad 10, with a 8 inch and 10 inch screen, respectively. Both tablets feature LED-backlit display with a 1280 x 800 resolution and IPS technology, a quad-core processor and microSD card storage.
The MeMo Pad 8 and MeMo Pad 10 is powered by a 1.6GHz Quad-core processor, both have high quality dual speakers with Asus SonicMaster audio technology, and 8 GB or 16 GB of expandable storage.
Interestingly, both models were packed with the same 1.2 MP front camera for video calling. But, the MeMo Pad 8 has a rear 5 MP camera while the MeMo Pad 10 has a 2 MP rear camera.
UPDATE: Asus MeMo Pad 8 is now available and retails at RM699.
