For the pass few years, Microsoft's Surface has always been a solid hybrid tablet that designed to replace your laptop. Now, we have the Surface Pro 4, it's lighter, thinner and faster than any previous Surface Pro model. It looks pretty much the same to last year's model, but it's slimmer at 8.4 mm and packs a larger 12.3-inch display.

The new display comes with Microsoft's PixelSense technology, with a gorgeous 12.3-inch (2736 x 1824) screen and 3:2 aspect ratio; it features 267 ppi and pushes over 5 millions pixels, supports 100 percent sRGB color, 1300:1 contrast ratio and has up to 10 point multi-touch with GPU-based processing.

Microsoft has finally announced the company's first Windows 10 Mobile flagship smartphones - the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL. The two new Lumia smartphones are the most powerful Windows phone to date, and the first phone that works like a PC.

Both the devices are created to focus at different target markets. The Lumia 950 XL is made for those who enjoyed larger screen, sporting a 5.7-inch display, while the Lumia 950 houses a more compact 5.2-inch screen; both handsets feature a Quad HD 2560 x 1440 resolution.

This is the Android-based Nokia X2 By Microsoft, the Successor to Nokia X


Not too long ago, Nokia launched the company's first ever Android-based smartphone: the Nokia X family of devices. Recently, Microsoft Mobile has announced the next generation Nokia X, welcome the Nokia X2.

The Nokia X2 runs on Nokia X software platform 2.0 with enhanced hardware and software. It's now equipped with a 4.3 inch 480 x 800 ClearBlack LCD display, powered by a Dual-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 200 CPU and paired with 1 GB of RAM.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is the Company Largest Tablet with 12-inch Display, Yet Slimmer and Lighter


On Tuesday, Microsoft announced the third generation of its Surface family tablet at a launch event in New York. Surprisingly, Microsoft break its tradition by introducing a larger Surface - the 12-inch Surface Pro 3, instead of 10.6 inch that found on the previous two generation Surface Pro.

Like its predecessor, the Surface Pro 3 will supports pen input and an improved Type Cover that transform it from tablet to laptop. The Surface Pro 3 has a 12 inch ClearType Full HD plus display with 2160 x 1440 resolution, an aspect ratio of 3:2 and powered by 4th generation Intel Core processor.

The Nokia Lumia 930 is the New Flagship Smartphone with Windows Phone 8.1


Back in MWC 2014 that happened on February in Barcelona, Nokia showed off three new smartphone under the Nokia X family and non of them are Windows Phone based device. Finally, Nokia had debuted the new Lumia 930 at the Microsoft Build Developer Conference, new flagship to the Lumia range smartphone.

Basically, the Lumia 930 is the global version of the Lumia Icon which was an exclusive model released for a US-based telecommunications company, Verizon. Interestingly enough, the Lumia 930 can also be considered as a smaller version of the Lumia 1520 since they share the similar hardware.

Introducing the Microsoft New Surface 2 Tablet


In addition to the Surface Pro 2, here comes the new Surface 2 tablet, a successor to the original Surface Windows RT tablet. Yes, the Surface 2 will runs on Windows RT 8.1 as the "revamp" of the original Surface slate.

Interestingly, the Surface 2 will spots the same 10.6 inch Full HD 1080p ClearType display find in the new Surface Pro 2. It is now powered by the powerful Nvidia Tegra 4 processor, a move up from Tegra 3 processor on its predecessor. Mircosoft claims that the new Surface 2 should enjoy a performance boost from 3 to 4 times faster than the original, and a 25% longer battery life time (10 hours of video playback).

Introducing the Microsoft New Surface Pro 2 Tablet


Microsoft officially announced the successor to their original Surface Pro - the Surface Pro 2, a powerful tablet that faster than 95% of the laptops available today.

Under the hoods, the Surface Pro 2 is powered by an Intel Core i5 Haswell processor clocked at 1.6 GHz, you can choose from 4 GB or 8 GB of RAM and storage options from 64 GB up to 512 GB model. The new Haswell chip inside the Surface Pro 2 increases 20% overall performance than the original slate with 50% more colors accuracy, 50% more graphic performance and a massive 75% increased battery life.

Microsoft Announces Second Generation Surface Tablets - the Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2

Today, Microsoft has unveiled two new surface tablet - the Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2. We'll looking at the Surface 2 first, labeled as "the most productive tablet ever build" by the company and the second generation Surface tablet is powered by Nvidia Tegra 4 processor.

The new Surface 2 is thinner, lighter and faster than the original Surface tablet. On the software side, it will runs on Windows RT 8.1. Pre-order starting tomorrow, 24th of September and to be available on 22nd of October with a starting price of $449 (32GB).

The Surface Pro 2 is a higher end flagship tablet running on Windows 8.1. It will be powered by the latest Haswell processor, Panos Panay, Microsoft's VP of Surface, says that the performance is lighting fast and faster than 95% of the laptops today.

The performance of the Surface Pro 2 boosted 50% graphic performance and a massive 75% improvement of battery life over its original Surface Pro tablet. The Surface Pro 2 will be start shipping on October 22nd and has a starting price of $899.

Microsoft Acquired Nokia's Devices & Services Business

Yesterday, Nokia and Microsoft announced an important news: Mircosoft has purchased Nokia's Devices and Services business with an agreement of
Microsoft is paying EUR 3.79 billion to purchase substantially all of Nokia’s Devices & Services business, and EUR 1.65 billion to license Nokia’s patents, for a total transaction price of EUR 5.44 billion in cash.

Under the agreement Microsoft will acquire substantially all of Nokia's Devices & Services business, including design, production, sales, marketing and related support functions. Which means the “Lumia” and “Asha” portfolio will soon belonged to Microsoft as well but the “Nokia” brand itself still remained to Finnish company. 

The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2014, approximately 32,000 people will be  transfer to Microsoft..Stephen Elop will step down as Nokia's President and CEO to become the company's Executive Vice President for Devices and Service while the transition takes place. While Risto Siilasmaa, the Chairman of the Nokia Board of Directors, will take the role of interim CEO.
