Nokia First Windows Tablet, the Nokia Lumia 2520


The company has finally revealed their first Windows tablet, the Nokia Lumia 2520. The Lumia 2520 spots a 10.1 inch Full HD 1920 x 1080 screen with ClearBlack display technology and protected by Gorilla Glass 2.

The design language of the tablet reminiscent the unibody polycarbonate design found in the Lumia lineup smartphone. The Lumia 2520 powered is by the Snapdragon 800 Quad-core 2.2 GHz processor, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot expandable memory up to 32 GB.

The Lumia 2520 tablet comes with a 6.7 MP main camera with ZEISS optics, a large f/1.9 aperture to take good quality pictures even in low light and a 2 MP front facing HD wide angle camera. Besides that, there is a front facing stereo speakers on the tablet.

The tablet will have LTE connectivity and a 8,000 mAh battery with fast charging capability that charge up 80% in one hour. The Nokia Power Keyboard gives an extra 5 hours of battery life and 2 built in USB ports. The Lumia 2520 runs on Windows RT 8.1 operating system with Microsoft's Outlook and Office preinstalled.

The Lumia 2520 is expected to start shipping in Q4 2013 and available in red and white in glossy finish while cyan and black in a matte finish. The Lumia 2520 will have a estimated price of $499 (around RM1,590) and the Nokia Power Keyboard has a recommended price of $149 (around 480).
