Microsoft has finally announced the company's first Windows 10 Mobile flagship smartphones - the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL. The two new Lumia smartphones are the most powerful Windows phone to date, and the first phone that works like a PC.
Both the devices are created to focus at different target markets. The Lumia 950 XL is made for those who enjoyed larger screen, sporting a 5.7-inch display, while the Lumia 950 houses a more compact 5.2-inch screen; both handsets feature a Quad HD 2560 x 1440 resolution.

On the inside, the Lumia 950 XL packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Octa-core processor; on the other hand, the Lumia 950 is powered by a Snapdragon 808 Hexa-core SoC. Both chipsets coupled with 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot that supports up to 2 TB cards. What's interesting is both devices will feature liquid-cooling technology.

Definitely, one of the main highlight of Microsoft phone is the camera. Both the Lumia 950 XL and 950 come with a 20 MP PureView rear camera sensor, featuring a triple LED RGB flash, 5th generation OIS, Zeiss optics, high ISO sensitivity up to 12800 and also capture 4K videos. As for the selfie camera, both sports a 5 MP wide-angle front-shooter.
Last but not least, the Lumia 950 XL packs a 3,340 mAh battery, while the 950 has a 3,000 mAh battery; they are removable. There's also a USB Type-C port at their base, which supports quick charging that juice up the battery from 10% to 50% in just 30 minutes. In addition, both will support wireless charging too.
The new Lumia 950 and 950 XL will launch in US starting from November, with the Lumia 950 retailing for $549 (about RM2,270) and its bigger sibling 950 XL priced at $649 (about RM2,682).
