Asus Transformer Book Duet TD300, a Quad-mode Dual Operating System Hybrid Device


Asus announced the Transformer Book Duet TD300, a hybrid laptop and tablet that runs on Windows and Android. The dual OS tablet comes with a detachable keyboard and allow users to switch operating system with a single push of the Instant Switch button or a virtual key on the tablet. Whether you're in laptop or tablet mode, you can seamlessly switch between Windows and Android in just 4 second.

The slate sports a 13.3 inch 1080p display, up to Intel Core i7 processor, 4 GB DDR3L 1600 RAM, up to 128 GB solid state drive and a microSD card slot; attach the dock and you'll get extra memory up to 1 TB of storage space alongside 3 USB ports (1x USB 3.0 and 2x USB 2.0), Ethernet and HDMI.

Asus Transformer Book Duet TD300 will be available in Asia and Europe late in the first quarter of 2014 while US by late in the second quater. The hybrid device will cost you $599 for a Core i3 model with HD 1366 x 768 screen and $699 for a 1080p unit. Check out the video after the break.
