Sony kick off its IFA 2019 show with the announcement of the company's latest smartphone, dubbed the Xperia 5. It comes with a 6.1-inch 21:9 CinemaWide OLED HDR display with Full HD+ (1080 x 2520) resolution, so it's basically the compact version of the Xperia 1 flagship.

Sony Unveils Xperia 1 Flagship with 21:9 CinemaWide 4K HDR OLED Display and Triple Rear Camera

Sony Mobile announced its new flagship Xperia 1 at MWC with a tall 21:9 aspect ratio screen and world's first 4K HDR OLED smartphone. The Xperia 1 has a 6.5-inch CinemaWide display with a resolution of 1644 x 3820. The display is powered by X1 for mobile engine and support 10 bit tonal gradation, BT. 2020 colour space as well as DCI-P3.

The Xperia 1 comes with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage via microSD card slot. The handset is rated IP68 for water and dust resistance; while the glass on the front and back is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6.

Introducing the Xperia XZ3: Sony's First Smartphone with OLED Display

Sony has just taken the wraps off the Xperia XZ3, its latest flagship smartphone at IFA 2018. The new Xperia XZ3 is the Japanese company's first smartphone to features an OLED display. It has a large 6-inch 18:9 QHD+ (2880 x 1440) HDR OLED display with curved 3D glass design.

At first glance, the phone design is similar to its predecessor - the Xperia XZ2, sporting a familiar 2:1 ratio tall display, but with a near bezel-less body. The Xperia XZ3 has an aluminium metal frame and together with front and back Gorilla Glass 5 as well as IP68 rated dust and water resistance.

Sony has officially announced two additions to its flagship family, meet the Xperia XZ1 amd Xperia XZ1 Compact. Both devices packed with latest Sony innovation, including the brand new Motion Eye camera, High-Resolution Audio and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile platform.

The Xperia XZ1 features the signature flagship loop surface with a seamless metal body design. It comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p HDR display and Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The Xperia XZ1 has an evolved stereo speakers with S-Force Front Surround that offers 50% more sound pressure than previous Xperia models.

The world's first 4K smartphone is the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium from 2015; And now in 2017, Sony had finally announced the successor to the yesteryear model. Introducing the Xperia XZ Premium - the world's first smartphone with a 4K HDR display.

The Xperia XZ Premium comes with a 5.5inch 4K UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels) High Dynamic Range (HDR) display. Featuring Triluminos Display for mobile, X-Reality for mobile, Dynamic Contrast Enhancer and has a pixel density of 806 ppi.

Sony Xperia X Compact Fitted a High-end Camera in Smaller Body

Besides the Sony's new flagship smartphone, the Xperia X Compact also unveiled alongside the Xperia XZ at IFA 2016. The Xperia X Compact may shares the same design language and some internal with the Xperia XZ, but it's not the mini version of the latest flagship.

In fact, as what the name suggested - it's the mini edition of the Xperia X. This means the Xperia X Compact also powered by the same Snapdragon 650 processor and 3 GB of RAM as per the Xperia X. The device is made of  ceramic and available in Mist Blue, White and Universe Black.

The Xperia XZ is Sony 2016 Flagship Smartphone with Triple Image Sensing Technology

At IFA 2016, Sony Mobile has officially announced the Xperia XZ which is the first flagship smartphone from the new X series. The Xperia XZ features a new loop surface design and equipped with Sony's brand new triple image sensing technology.

Built with a 23 MP 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS sensor for mobile alongside a 24 mm wide-angle G Lens and Bionz mobile image processing engine, the rear camera also comes with Predictive Hybrid Autofocus and supported by two additional sensors to become the new triple image sensing technology.

Sony Debuted New Xperia X Series Smartphones to Reimaged its Xperia Brand

Sony make a surprise announcement at MWC 2016, launching a new line of its Xperia smartphones. The new Xperia X series comes in three models: the lower-end Xperia XA,  the regular Xperia X and the top-tier Xperia X Performance.

The Japanese company aims to bring next generation technologies in camera, battery and design with the Xperia X series. All three devices will feature Qnovo's adaptive charging technology which tracks battery usage pattern and offers up to two days of battery life.

Today, Sony Mobile unveils the company latest flagship smartphones: the next generation smartphone camera with the Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5 Dual as well as the world's first 4K smartphone Xperia Z5 Premium Dual.

The trio smartphones debuted at IFA 2015 in September, the new Xperia Z5 series comes with the company's familiar OmniBalance design, which is a metal frame sandwiched between glass panels. However, the rear panel is now frosted glass for the Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact. On the other hand, the Z5 Premium features a mirrored finish glass back.

Sony Mobile unveiled the Xperia Z5 Compact alongside the Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Premium. Just like its predecessor, the Xperia Z5 Compact has a 4.6-inch screen and Sony is no compromise by offering flagship specs in a smaller form factor.

Although the 4.6-inch screen only sports a 1280 x 720  HD resolution IPS display, but it has all the Sony's display technologies with Triluminos Display for Mobile, X-Reality for Mobile and Dynamic Contrast Enhancer.

Sony Mobile has officially unveiled the latest addition of its flagship Z series smartphone with trio devices: the Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact and Xperia Z5 Premium  - the Japanese company 2015 flagship smartphone as well as the successor to the last year's Xperia Z3 series.

The Sony's latest flagship continued the familiar "OmniBalance" design language, but the company's signature power button is now gone: First appeared on the original Xperia Z; and now it's replaced with a new (flat and oval) integrated fingerprint scanner power button.

Sony Mobile has unveiled a new member to its Xperia family - the Xperia M5, the successor to the Xperia M4 Aqua. The new Xperia M5 is dubbed as the "super mid-range" device and based on its specs it is deserved for that title.

The Xperia M5 sports a 5-inch 1080p IPS display and Sony's OmniBalance design with metal frame and glass finish on both sides. Under the hood, it's powered by a 64-bit MediaTek Helio X10 chipset with 2.0 GHz Octa-core CPU and PowerVR G6200 GPU.
