Meet Sony's Next Generation PROselfie Smartphone - the Xperia C4


Remember the Sony's best selfie smartphone Xperia C3? Sony had just revealed the successor to the C3 - the Xperia C4 and C4 Dual. The new Xperia C4 is the company's next generation PROselfie device with a high quality 5 MP front shooter and a series of creative camera apps.


The Xperia C4 packs a 5 MP front-facing camera featuring a 25 mm wide-angle lens, paired with Sony's Exmor R for mobile sensor, a soft LED flash and HDR features to create perfect selfie shots, even in low light conditions. In addition, the front camera also sports a Superior Auto mode and SteadyShot technology to reduces camera shake.


There's no compromise on the rear camera too, the Xperia C4 comes with a 13 MP autofocus camera alongside a LED flash and HDR baked in. It has a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display on board, which the resolution has been boosted up over the 720p display on the C3.

Under the hood, the Xperia C4 is powered by a 64-bit Octa-core MediaTek MTK6752 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card.

 

The Xperia C4 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box and equipped with a large 2,600 mAh battery. Other specs included NFC, LTE connectivity, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and dual SIM (Xperia C4 Dual). The Xperia C4 will be available starting from June 2015 and the pricing remains unknown.
