The much awaited LG's latest flagship smartphone, the G4, has been officially debuted at launch events in London, New York, Paris, Singapore, Istanbul and Seoul. The new LG G4, successor to the G3, focused on enhancing the visual experiences, low-light photography, ergonomic design and human-centric user experience.
The LG G4 houses a 5.5-inch Quad HD IPS Quantum display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a pixel density of 538 ppi. It is the first device to powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset featuring Hexa-core processor. Besides that, the G4 comes with 3 GB of RAM as well as 32 GB of expandable storage via microSD card.
Now, lets take a look on the camera. LG uses a 16MP sensor and an ultra-bright f/1.8 lens for the rear camera. The camera is accompany by a faster laser autofocus, a LED flash, a colour spectrum sensor that improves colour accuracy and adjust the lighting conditions, OIS 2.0 and support RAW format. The 8MP front camera is ideal for perfect selfie with the LG's Gesture Shot feature.
The LG G4 comes with either a premium ceramic back cover or a genuine leather. The vegetable tanned leather is environmental friendly and recyclable and available in 6 distinct colours.
The device is fitted with a large 3,000 mAh removable battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. The LG G4 will starts its global release in South Korea on 29 April and pricing has yet to announced.
UPDATE: LG G4 is now available in Malaysia for RM2,499.
