The Jolla smartphone runs on the Sailfish OS, which is a easy to use gesture based user interface (UI) like the Nokia N9 Swipe UI. Other features are live multitasking, the Other Half expandability with changeable smart covers and don't forget it can runs Android Apps.
The Sailfish OS achieved compatibility with Android ecosystem which allows Android apps run directly on Sailfish OS and enjoy highly popular Android apps by seamlessly download the apps just as any other Android device on the app store.
The phone display measured at 4.5 inch qHD resolution 960 x 540, which gave a 244.77 ppi of pixel density which is slightly lower than the Nokia N9's 251 ppi on the 3.9 inch 480 x 854 AMOLED display. It received many negative critics from the Jolla's fans about the low resolution screen and they are hoping to have at least 720p HD display on it.
With the Other Half changeable smart covers, it is possible to see the Jolla phone may comes with extra features, for example, a camera shutter button or even a qwerty keyboard implement on the Other Half smart covers.
