Asus Malaysia has just officially launched the company's brand new ZenPad 7.0 (Z370CG) in a product launching event at its Zensation roadshow in Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur. The ZenPad 7 is the world's first customized tablet with swappable functional Zen Case rear covers.
The ZenPad 7 is a mid-range tablet powered by an Intel Atom x3-C3230 Quad-core 64-bit processor. It has a 7-inch 1280 x 800 HD IPS display and comes with a single front-facing speaker with DTS-HD premium sound.
Other features included a 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable storage via microSD card, an 8 MP rear camera, 2 MP front-facing shooter and a 13 Whr battery that lasts up to 8 hours of battery life. The ZenPad 7.0 will runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Asus' ZenUI out of the box and carry a price tag of RM749.
In addition, the company also released a series of accessories that are specially designed for the ZenPad. These accessories are the Power Case, Audio Case and Zen Cluth which are priced at RM109, RM249 and RM119 respectively. Each ZenPad 7 will bundled with two Zen Cases.
Besides the ZenPad 7.0, Asus Malaysia also revealed the ZenPad C 7.0 (Z170CG), an entry-level version of the ZenPad 7 with the same screen size but with a less powerful hardware. In addition, the company also released a series of accessories specially designed for the ZenPad.
The ZenPad C sports a 7-inch 1024 x 600 IPS display, the same Intel Atom x3-C3230 Quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, dual-SIM, 13 Whr battery, 2 MP rear camera, 0.3 MP front-facing camera and Android 5.0 Lollipop with ZenUI. The ZenPad C 7.0 is priced at RM449.
