IFA 2013 Wrap Up

Is time to say goodbye to IFA 2013 , the major trade show that took place once a year in Berlin, Germany.

Let's take a look at all of the new mobile devices announcements that happened at the IFA trade fair.


There are few pre-IFA events kick off before the official IFA event take place, such as the Samsung Unpacked 2013 Episode 2 and IFA 2013 Sony Press Conference.

Sony

The long rumored cameraphone codenamed Sony Xperia Honami, the Xperia Z1 was unveils alongside with the Sony Cyber-shot QX line of lens-style cameras. The Xperia Z1 featuring a 5 inch FHD Triluminos Display and a 20.7 MP camera with Sony G Lens branding, a large 1/2.3 sensor, BIONZ image processor and a Sony Exmor RS sensor.

The lens-style cameras QX100 and QX10 are attachable lens that offer the users the best photography experience using their smartphone. Easy connection between the lens and smartphone by NFC one-touch or connected using WiFi.

Besides that, Sony also unveiled the VAIO Tap 11, a Windows 8 Tablet PC with Intel Core Processor. Packs a 11 inch 1920 x 1080 IPS display with supports pen input.

Samsung

Samsung announced 3 new products: Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Gear and Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition at its UNPACKED event.

The Galaxy Note 3 with the upgraded hardware and a new design language with uses a leather back cover instead of its previously cheap plastic back cover found on the company's flagship devices.

The Galaxy Gear Smartwatch is an accessory for the Galaxy series smartphone. Features a 1.63 inch AMOLED touchscreen display and a 1.9 MP camera. You will get all the notifications without on the Gear without looking at your phone.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) spots a 10.1 inch display with WQXGA 2560 x 1600 LCD panel and runs on Android 4.3.

Asus

Asus kick off the IFA with a range of updated Android tablets such as the New Transformer Pad TF701T, 8 inch and 10 inch MeMo Pad. The refreshed Fonepad 7 which is a device in between the size of a smartphone and tablet.

Acer

Acer shows off its new Liquid S2 flagship smartphone, which is the company's first 4K video recording smartphone and a new Android tablet the Iconia A3. Acer also unveiled an 24 inch Android AIO device and 3 AIO desktop.

LG

The LG G Pad 8.3 made an official debuts on the IFA 2013 although it was revealed before the IFA event. The G Pad is a powerful 8 inch device with an impressive 1920 x 1080 display and powered by 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 Quad-core processor.

Lenovo

Lenono annuonced the Vibe X smartphone, also known as the IdeaPhone S960. Powered by MediaTek SoC with 1.5 GHz Quad-core MTK 6589T processor, 2GB RAM, a decent 13 MP auto focus main camera and 5 MP front facing camera.

HTC

Two new Android phone the HTC Desire 601 and Desire 300 join the IFA event. The Desire 601 is a mid-range smartphone while the Desire 300 is an entry-level smartphone. HTC also introduced a new accessory the HTC BoomBass, a compact, Bluetooth-enabled subwoofer for the HTC One family.

Toshiba

A pocked-sized 8 inch Windows Tablet, the Toshiba Encore. The all new Encore tablet delivering the full Windows 8.1 experience with the optimized software and hardware. Pre-installed with full version of Office Home & Student 2013.
