A year later, 2012 at the Berlin Radio Show, Samsung announced the successor to the original Galaxy Note which was called the Galaxy Note II. Featuring a bigger 5.55 inch screen than its predecessor and S Pen too.

The Galaxy Note 3 is powered by either a 2.3 GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 800 or 1.9 GHz Exynos Octa-core CPU, 5.7 inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, a whopping 3GB of RAM, 32 or 64GB of memory and a massive 3200 mAh battery. A 13 MP main camera with Smart Stabilization, high CRI LED flash and capable to record 4K video.
Finally, we have seen some material change on the back cover of the phone. Instead of plastic, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 adds a soft and textured-touch back cover. It will be available Jet Black, Classic White and Blush Pink. Samsung will also offer exchangeable back covers in dozens of additional colors at launch.
The Galaxy Note 3 will run on Android 4.3 and also launched alongside with Samsung's first-ever wearable device, the Galaxy Gear smartwatch. I have no news on the local pricing of the Galaxy Note 3 but do know it will be available on 25 September. Hopefully I got the chance to hands on the Galaxy Note 3 and write a full review of it.
UPDATE: The Galaxy Note 3 is priced at RM2,399 while the Galaxy Gear smartwatch is priced at RM999. Let's view the Galaxy Note 3 hands on here.
