LG Introduces GX Smartphone in Korea


The Korean company, LG introduced a new member to its G series lineup, the LG GX. The smartphone was announced in Korea this morning. The LG GX features a 5.5 inch Full HD 1920 x 1080 IPS display. Under its hood, the phablet is powered by a Snapdragon 600 CPU and 2 GB of RAM on board.

Basically, the specs of the LG GX is almost identical to the earlier released LG Optimus G Pro except for a boost in clock speed from 1.7 GHz on the Optimus G Pro to the 2.26 GHz on the GX. The LG GX does support LTE connectivity and "knock on" feature which found on the LG G2, apart from that, everything else spots the same to the Optimus G Pro - 32 GB of onboard storage, a 13 MP rear camera, 2.1 MP front camera and a 3,140 mAh removable battery.

The device runs on Android Jelly Bean (undisclosed build version) out of the box and expected to launch in early January in South Korea for 850,000 to 890,000 Korean Won (around RM2,700).

HTC Announces the One Max Supersized Smartphone


It's finally here, the long rumored HTC One Max smartphone. After a few leaks and hints found on the Internet, the HTC is ready to launch the HTC One Max: a super-sized smartphone with 5.9 inch 1080p display, an enlarged version of the HTC One.

The phablet shares the same premium aluminum look and feel found in the original One. You can now enjoy the best overall smartphone experience on a larger screen and thanks to the front facing BoomSound stereo speakers which gives you the best audio experience too.

Oppo N1 Smartphone with a Rotating 13MP Camera


Oppo the Chinese manufacturers from China have announced the Oppo N1 smartphone, its first device from the new N-Lens flagship series. The new N1 smartphone, featuring a unique swiveling 13 MP rear camera - which look cool. We first seen a swiveling camera lens was back in 2005 on a Nokia N90 smartphone.

The Oppo N1 smartphone is a huge phone with 5.9 inch Full HD IPS 1920 x 1080 display, a high pixel density of 377 ppi and multi-touch capacitive screen. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 Quad-core 1.7 GHz processor paired with 2 GB of RAM. The N1 comes with storage options of 16 or 32 GB and a gigantic 3610 mAh battery.

Asus New PadFone Infinity with Snapdragon 800 Processor


Earlier today in Taipei, Asus added a new member to its PadFone family, the new PadFone Infinity. Like its predecessor, the new PadFone spots a 5 inch Full HD 1920 x 1080 Super IPS display, 2 GB of RAM,  2400 mAh battery and a 2 MP front facing camera. From the outer look, it is now features a new diamond cut metallic backside which gives the phone a more premium and solid look.

The new PadFone Infinity is powered by the 2.2 GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 800 SoC, a boost from 1.7 Quad-core Snapdragon 600 SoC on the original PadFone Infinity. It offers internal storage options of 16 GB or 32 GB and comes with a MicroSD card slot. The smartphone will runs on Android 4.2 out of the box.

While the rear camera may sound like the same old 13 MP f/2.0 shooter, but Asus had made some tweak on the camera software that called PixelMaster, which combine multiple pixels to form a smaller 3 MP image but with a sharper and cleaner quality.

The new PadFone Infinity to be available on two colors: Titanium Black and Platinum White. The LTE PadFone Infinity will cost NT$18,990 (approximately RM1,820) and the tablet dock is priced at NT$7,000 (approximately RM770).

LG Unveils G Pad 8.3 Tablet Ahead of IFA 2013


LG Electronic (LG) had just announced the LG G Pad 8.3 tablet ahead of the IFA 2013. The Korean company can't wait to showing off its much-rumored G Pad 8.3 tablet and it is set to officially debut at the IFA 2013 trade show in Berlin.

The brand new LG G Pad 8.3 is the latest addition to its G Series lineup of premium mobile devices. The company added that, “the LG G Pad 8.3 builds on the recent launch of the LG G2 superphone, reinforcing LG's commitment to leadership in advanced mobile devices through its premium G Series products.”

The LG G Pad 8.3 is the first 8 inch class with Full HD display. As the name implies, it's an Android 4.2 tablet which featuring an 8.3 inch display with 1920 x 1200 WUXGA (Widescreen Ultra Extended Graphics Array) resolution.
