LG Introduces GX Smartphone in Korea
The Korean company, LG introduced a new member to its G series lineup, the LG GX. The smartphone was announced in Korea this morning. The LG GX features a 5.5 inch Full HD 1920 x 1080 IPS display. Under its hood, the phablet is powered by a Snapdragon 600 CPU and 2 GB of RAM on board.
Basically, the specs of the LG GX is almost identical to the earlier released LG Optimus G Pro except for a boost in clock speed from 1.7 GHz on the Optimus G Pro to the 2.26 GHz on the GX. The LG GX does support LTE connectivity and "knock on" feature which found on the LG G2, apart from that, everything else spots the same to the Optimus G Pro - 32 GB of onboard storage, a 13 MP rear camera, 2.1 MP front camera and a 3,140 mAh removable battery.
The device runs on Android Jelly Bean (undisclosed build version) out of the box and expected to launch in early January in South Korea for 850,000 to 890,000 Korean Won (around RM2,700).
