Huawei added two new members to its Honor series smartphone with the introduction of Android powered Honor 3X and Honor 3C. The Honor 3X is a 5.5" phablet, while the Honor 3C is a 5" smartphone. Both device will support dual-SIM connectivity.
The Honor 3X is the company's first smartphone to packs with a Octa-core processor, powered by MediaTek MT6592 SoC clocked at 1.7 GHz and paired with 2 GB of RAM.
The phablet features a 5.5 inch IPS display with only 720p resolution, as Huawei claims that a 1080p display would increased 20% more battery consumption. Other features included a 13 MP f/2.2 rear camera, a 5 MP front facing camera and a large 3,000 mAh battery.
The 3X smartphone comes with dual-SIM card slots which support one Mini SIM and one Micro Mini. Both are 3G enable and there's also a dual-mic system for noise cancellation. Priced at just CN¥1,698 or $280 off contract (around RM910) and there's no release date yet.

Huawei Honor 3C
The Honor 3C comes with a moderate specs, featuring a 5 inch 1280 x 720 LTPS display, a Quad-core 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6582 SoC, a Sony 8 MP f/2.0 rear camera, a 5 MP front facing camera, dual-SIM slots, 4 GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot and a 2,300 mAh battery.
The device will runs on Android 4.2 and have two version: one with 1 GB RAM and one with 2 GB RAM. Both version also comes with dual-mic noise cancellation and two SIM slots (supports the global and China Mobile kinds of 3G).
Pre-order for the Honor 3C will begins tomorrow for CN¥798 (around $130 or RM420) or CN¥998 (around $160 or RM520) for the 1 GB and 2 GB versions respectively from JD.com and Vmall.com.
UPDATE: The Huawei Honor 3C (2 GB RAM / 8 GB ROM version) is now available in Malaysia and priced at only RM499. To be available in 6 colours: Pearl White, Titanium Grey, Champagne Gold, Lamborghini Yellow, Tiffany Green and Rococo Pink.
