LG Debuted K Series Smartphones: Introducing the K10 and K7

LG K10

LG has officially announced its K Series, a new line of mid-range smartphones and the successor to the company's L series. The LG K10 and LG K7 is the first two devices from its new K Series. Both handsets will feature the manufacturer's new glossy pebble design as well as 2.5D arc glass.

The LG K10 sports a 5.3-inch 720p In-cell Touch display and packs a 2,300 mAh battery. The phone will be available in LTE-capable model or 3G-only, as well as the rest of the specs of the device will vary based on the target market.

The LTE version of the phone will get three different CPU variants: either an Octa-core 1.14 GHz or a Quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz or 1.3GHz. The 3G model has a Quad-core 1.3 GHz processor. The RAM amount can be 1 GB, 1.5 GB or 2 GB, while the internal storage is either 8 GB or 16 GB.

The LTE K10 comes with a 13 MP rear camera, while the 3G model has an 8 MP unit. As for the front-facing snapper, both versions will get either 8 MP or 5 MP camera, depending on market. The LG K10 will runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and available in White, Indigo and Gold.

LG K7

The LG K7 has a 5-inch display with 480 x 854 resolution, a 2,125 mAh battery, a 5 MP selfie camera and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Yet again the handset will has different hardware based on where it is sold, and available in LTE version or 3G model.

The LTE-enabled K7 comes with a 1.1 GHz Quad-core CPU, while the 3G one features a 1.3 GHz Quad-core CPU. The processor is paired with either 1.5 GB or 1 GB of RAM and has 8 GB or 16 GB of built-in storage. The rear camera can be 8 MP or 5 MP depending on market.

The LTE model will only be available in Titan, while the 3G version will available in three colour options: White, Black and Gold. The pricing and availability of the LG K10 and K7 are yet to be announced.
