The video shows the features of the “Lens-camera” such as one-touch connectivity between the lens and smartphone, launching the PlayMemories Mobile app, touch auto-focus, manual control, edit and share photos using apps.
The pricing of the new Cyber-shot QX100 and QX10 lens-style cameras will be $500 and $250 respectively, will be released later this month.
The Cyber-shot QX100 camera features a premium, high-quality 1.0 inch, 20.2 MP Exmor R™ CMOS sensor, identical to the one found in Cyber-shot RX100 II camera. Featuring a fast, wide-aperture Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T lens with 3.6x optical zoom and a powerful BIONZ image processor. It also spots a dedicated control ring for manual focus and zoom.
The Cyber-shot QX10 camera is a high-zoom, powerful 18.2 MP Exmor R™ CMOS sensor with 10x optical zoom Sony G Lens. It has built-in Optical SteadyShot and will be available in two different colors – black and white.
