Alcatel Unveils One Touch Hero & One Touch Idol Alpha
Alcatel One Touch Hero is a phablet with 6 inch Full HD 1920 x 1080 IPS display. The giant smartphone is powered by 1.5 GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6589+ processor with 2 GB of RAM.
Comes with a standard 13 MP main camera, 2 MP front facing camera and 8 GB or 16 GB of internal memory. A large 3400 mAh battery to keep the phone last longer and a company's very own stylus along.
You can have a second display with the E Ink cover. Reading newspapers and magazines on the E Ink display saving even more battery of the phone. MagicFlip is another cover with the embedded LED that shows all the notifications. Other accessories are a companion Bluetooth phone and Pico Projector.

The Alcatel One Touch Idol Alpha is a 4.7 inch phone with translucent edges. Featuring a 4.7 inch HD 1280 x 720 IPS display with edge-to-edge screen that delivers an extraordinary floating lens idea.
With its own unique design that mixes metal case, curves and translucent edges, there is a 1.2GHz Quad-core processor under its hood with 1 GB RAM, 16 GB of internal memory, a 13.1 MP main camera capable of shooting 1080p videos, 1.3 MP front camera, and 2000 mAh battery on board.
The translucent edges acts as an illuminate in various modes such as charging, video, and other notifications. Which is a pretty cool idea and something different from other.
UPDATE: The Alcatel One Touch Hero (8 GB version with MicroSD card slot) is now available in Malaysia for RM1,399.
