Apple Officially Unveils the Next Generation iPhone: the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus


This is it! The Eighth generation iPhone. Apple has just made an announcement of the new iPhone, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The former iPhone comes with a bigger screen at 4.7 inch and the latter sporting an even larger 5.5 inch display.

Qualcomm Announces the Snapdragon 410 with 64-bit Support and LTE for Emerging Markets


Oh well, it's just the matter of time for other manufacturers to gradually introduce the 64-bit mobile processor since Apple first introduced the A7 processor based on 64-bit architecture in their iPhone 5S.

This time is Qualcomm turn to introduce their first 64-bit SoC - the Snapdragon 410. Interestingly, the newly announced Snapdragon 410 is focused on emerging markets and is targeted on low-end devices.

The new processor manufactured using 28 nm process technology, 64-bit capable, and support 3G and 4G LTE connectivity. The Snapdragon 410 feature an Adreno 306 GPU, support for Dual and Triple SIM, 1080p video playback, up to a 13 MP camera, Bluetooth, WiFi, FM and NFC.

The Snapdragon 400 is expected to be sample to manufacturers in the first half of 2014 and available on consumer devices during the second half. Also, check this out the next generation Snapdragon 805 Ultra HD processor that announced not too long ago.

Apple Reveals the New iPad Mini with Retina Display


The smaller sibling of the iPad - the iPad mini has finally comes to the second generation named as the iPad mini with Retina display. It's is a big boost for the new 2013 model which finally packs with the Retina display (2048 x 1536 resolution) alongside with the new 64-bit A7 processor and M7 motion coprocessor.

It has a 7.9 inch display with a pixel density of 326 ppi which offers a crystal clear and stunning display. On the rear,there is a 5 MP iSight camera and a front 1.2 MP camera. There is a built in 23.8-watt-hour lithium polymer battery that promised the same 10 hours of battery life.

The iPad mini with Retina display will be available later in November and available in Space Grey and Silver. It has a starting price of $399 (around RM1,260) for 16 GB WiFi model.

Apple Announced the Fifth Generation iPad - the iPad Air


Today early in the morning, Apple hosting a launch event in San Francisco. The company has announced the next generation tablet with a new name, called the iPad Air. The fifth generation iPad is thinner, lighter and faster. It has a 43% thinner bezel and 20% thinner profile measured at only 7.5 mm thick.

As of the screen size, the iPad Air retaining the traditional 9.7 inch Retina display with 2048 x 1536 resolution. It spots the same 64-bit architecture Apple A7 processor along with M7 motion coprocessor found in the new iPhone 5S. It has a 5 MP iSight camera and a 1.2 MP front facing camera. Also, the iPad Air spots dual mics.

There is a built in 32.4-watt-hour lithium polymer battery that promised up to 10 hours of usage. The iPad Air will ship on November 1st to several countries, including the UK, US, China and Japan. It will be available in Space Grey and Silver with a retail price starting from $499 (around RM1,580) to $929 (around RM2,940) depends on the model and capacity.

Apple Announced iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C

Apple has officially unveiled the iPhone 5 successor at the launch event this morning on its company's headquarters. This year, rather than traditional one to one iPhone announcement, Apple replaced its last year flagship iPhone by launched two new iPhones: the iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S.

The iPhone 5C comes with multiple colors of choices: White, Pink, Yellow, Blue and Green. It has a polycarbonate plastic back, it's beautiful and feels solid in hand. On the other hand, the iPhone 5S has a aluminum housing and it's available in three colors: Gold, Silver and Space Gray.

Apple iPhone Event on September 10


Just less than a week, Apple is going to host an event on September 10, 2013 to unveils its next generation iPhone hardware.  Apple has just mailed out invitations to an event at their headquarters in Cupertino on September 10th starting at 10 AM PT.

Rumors suggested that there will be 2 new iPhones this year: an iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C. If the rumors and leaks are true, then the iPhone 5S will feature a fingerprint sensor on the home button, a 12 or 13 MP camera with dual LED flash, and a gold-colored variant. The design of the flagship device will remain a similar design to the existing iPhone 5.

The new iPhone 5C rumored to be a cheap version of iPhone, made in plastic and available in multiple colors. At the meanwhile, Apple is also preparing its new iOS software. The iOS 7 may ready for showcase at the event too. Let's see what Apple is going to unveils on next week.
