Kyocera's Digno Rafre is the World's First Washable Smartphone with Soap and Warm Water

Do you ever own a waterproof smartphone? How can you keep your phone always clean? That's why Kyocera came out with an idea and introduced the Digno Rafre - the world's first hand-soap washable smartphone. With waterproof technology that not only preventing the device from water damage, but also maintain the phone hygiene.

The Rafre comes with an IP58 certified for dust- and water-resistant. On top of that, the handset also included a specially rated protection for hot water resistance at 43-degree Celsius. In addition, the phone itself is shock-proof (MIL-SSTD-810G) and the rear of the device has a self-healing layer that recovers minor scratches.

Qualcomm Announces the Snapdragon 410 with 64-bit Support and LTE for Emerging Markets


Oh well, it's just the matter of time for other manufacturers to gradually introduce the 64-bit mobile processor since Apple first introduced the A7 processor based on 64-bit architecture in their iPhone 5S.

This time is Qualcomm turn to introduce their first 64-bit SoC - the Snapdragon 410. Interestingly, the newly announced Snapdragon 410 is focused on emerging markets and is targeted on low-end devices.

The new processor manufactured using 28 nm process technology, 64-bit capable, and support 3G and 4G LTE connectivity. The Snapdragon 410 feature an Adreno 306 GPU, support for Dual and Triple SIM, 1080p video playback, up to a 13 MP camera, Bluetooth, WiFi, FM and NFC.

The Snapdragon 400 is expected to be sample to manufacturers in the first half of 2014 and available on consumer devices during the second half. Also, check this out the next generation Snapdragon 805 Ultra HD processor that announced not too long ago.
