Sony Xperia E4 Goes Official with Curvier Design and Two-day Battery Life


The Japanese company has took the wraps off the new Xperia E4 ahead of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015. The MWC will take place on next month, starting from 3-5 March and many manufacturers are expected to showcased their new products at the event.

The Sony Xperia E4 is the fourth generation Xperia E series device, it sports a large 5 inch qHD 960 x 540 IPS display and a new design language with rounded corner design.


The Xperia E4 is powered by MediaTek MT6582 Quad-core 1.3 GHz processor and Mali-400 MP2 GPU. The new smartphone comes with 8 GB of expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32 GB) and paired with 1 GB of RAM.

The new E4 also features a 5 MP rear camera, 2 MP front shooter and a 2,300 mAh battery that provides 2-day of usage. There's also a dual-SIM version, the device runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat and available in Black or White. As for now, Sony has yet to announced the pricing and availability of the Xperia E4.

UPDATE: The Sony Xperia E4 Dual is now available in Malaysia and retailing at RM459.
