HTC Officially Announced the One X9: 5.5-inch Display, Helio X10 SoC, BoomSound Speakers

HTC has officially unveiled the One X9. On the surface, the new X9 borrows the design language found on the One A9 that introduced earlier this year, but there are significant differences. The phone has an aluminium unibody and equipped with HTC's BoomSound front-facing stereo speakers.

The One X9 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display. Under the screen, there are three back-lit capacitive Android buttons. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio X10 64-bit Octa-core processor with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.

As for the cameras, the One X9 features a 13 MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture, optical image stabilization (OIS), dual-tone LED flash and capable to record 4K videos as well as capture RAW images. On the other hand, the front shooter is a 5 MP sensor with an f/2.8 lens.

The handset is juiced up by a 3,000 mAh non-removable battery and compatible with 5V/1.5A fast-charging, which is 30% faster than standard 2V/1A format. In addition, the X9 will support dual Nano SIM slots and a microSD card slot (up to 2 TB).

The version of Android is still unknown, but it's expected to runs on Marshmallow out of the box, just like the One A9. The HTC One X9 will cost 2,399 Yuan (about RM1,594) in China and will go on sale soon.
