At IFA 2013 in Berlin, Toshiba shows off their first 8 inch Windows tablet - Toshiba Encore. The all new Encore tablet runs on Windows 8.1 with full version of Office Home & Student 2013. A perfect companion for home, work and play in a pocket sized form factor.
Delivering the full Windows 8.1 experience with the optimized software, hardware and the features at a reasonably price compare with other competitors.
The Encore features a 8 inch high resolution (1280 x 800) multitouch HFFS display with wide viewing angles. Powered by the power-efficient Intel Atom Z3740 Quad-core 1.33 GHz processor (previously codenamed as Bay Trail).

The Encore is optimized for Skype, the front 2 MP camera delivering high quality video chatting, on-board dual microphones and a stereo speakers. On the rear of tablet, it packs a 8 MP main camera.
On top of that, Encore includes 32GB of storage, a Micro USB 2.0 port, Micro HDMI port and a microSDTM slot expandable up to 32GB.
The Toshiba Encore tablet will be available starting from November at the price tag of $330.
