A new Chinese brand smartphone manufacturer is arise and the company recently announced its first phone - presenting you the Lenove-backed ZUK and ZUK Z1. The Android device equipped some pretty adequate hardware inside with a competitive price tag of 1,799 Yuan or about RM1,124.
We're looking at a metal frame body that houses a 5.5-inch IPS display with 1080p resolution; beneath the screen, there's a U-Touch fingerprint reader embedded in the home button with extra functions: A simple touch lets you go back, a press bring you home, double-tap toggles the recent apps and swipe horizontally to switch between apps.
The ZUK Z1 measures 8.9 mm thick and weighs 175 grams, but it packs a huge 4,100 mAh battery on board. The phone is powered by a 2.5 GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC along with 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.
The device sports a 13MP f/2.2 main camera with Sony IMX 214 sensor, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and dual-tone LED flash. The front camera uses an 8 MP unit with OmniVision sensor and has a large 1.4 micron pixels.
Other specs included dual Nano SIM slots, 4G LTE connectivity, Type-C USB port and runs on ZUI based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It comes in two color options: Black or White. The ZUK Z1 will be only available in China right now and priced at 1,799 Yuan (about RM1.124).
