Lenovo Reveals Vibe X2 Pro Smartphone Alongside a Selfie Flash


Lenovo introduced the limited edition Vibe X2 Pro smartphone with the same eye-catching layered design of the Vibe X2. The X2 Pro sports a larger 5.3 inch FHD 1080p IPS display and a slightly bigger 2,410 mAh battery.

As of performance, Lenovo opt for the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 1.5 GHz Octa-core processor for the new X2 Pro, instead of the MediaTek's 6595m True8Core SoC powering the original X2.


Imaging wise, although it still has the same 13 MP rear camera, but Lenovo upgraded the front-shooter to a 13 MP camera. The dual 13 MP auto-focus camera come with gesture controls, beautification features and a LED flash, which allies with the new Vibe Xtension Selfie Flash to capture the best selfie.

To use the Lenovo Vibe Xtension Selfie Flash, just plugs into the audio jack and voila! It can last up to 100 selfies in a single charge and it's rechargeable. Inside, there's an 8 LED flash that provide natural colour tones, even in low light conditions and 100% shutter sync times.


Other features included 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, a microSD slot support up to 32 GB card, dual-nano-SIM, 4G LTE connectivity, bluetooth 4.0 and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with Vibe UI 2.0.

The Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro will be release beginning in April 2015 and available in three colours: Electric Blue, Champagne Gold and Rock Pink. The smartphone is priced at $499 (around RM1,773) and the Xtension Selfie Flash will retail for $29 (around RM103).
