The original Asus PadFone (a phone/tablet hybrid) was first released in Taiwan on April 2012. Today as promised, Asus revealed its new PadFone Mini 4.3 in Taiwan - a mini version to the existing new PadFone Infinity.
As the rumor suggested, the Asus PadFone Mini comes with a 4.3 inch phone and a 7 inch tablet dock. The PadFone Mini spots a 4.3 inch 960 x 540 Super IPS screen, powered by Quad-core 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1 GB of RAM, Adreno 305, 16 GB of internal storage expandable with microSD card and a 1,500 mAh battery. It has a 8 MP rear camera with f/2.0, BSI sensor, Hi-Light "Owl Mode", high speed continue shooting and a 2 MP front camera.

On the other hand, the tablet itself sports an 7 inch 1280 x 800 Super IPS screen and a built-in 2,200 mAh battery. On the connectivity side, it will support Dual-SIM, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS and GLONASS. The PadFone Mini will runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box.
The Asus PadFone Mini will available in Black, White and Cherry. The device is currently launched in Taiwan for NT$11,900 (around RM1,300) and planned to release in China, Russia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia, it may expand to the US market as well.
