The Taiwanese company show off the brand new ZenFone Selfie during the Zensation press event at the Computex 2015 in Taipei, Taiwan. As the name suggested, the ZenFone Selfie is a smartphone designed for selfie enthusiasts.The device featuring front and rear 13 MP PixelMaster cameras with both cameras are accompanied by a dual-LED real tone flash.
The ZenFone Selfie's rear camera is equipped with a large f/2.0 aperture lens and laser auto-focus technology (something that even the flagship ZenFone 2 lacks) to ensure fast focusing for clear and sharp pictures.
The front shooter features a f/2.2 aperture and an 88-degree wide-angle lens. With its unique Selfie Panorama mode, users able to capture selfies up to 140-degree. In addition, the Beautification mode enhanced your selfie experiences and creates flawless photos.
The ZenFone Selfie has a large 5.5-inch 1080p display and covered by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for protection against scratches and drops. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-core processor.
It will comes in two storage options: 16 GB with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB with 3 GB of RAM. Both variants will support microSD card up to 64 GB. The device also sports a large 3,000 mAh battery and dual-SIM support with 4G LTE connectivity.
The ZenFone Selfie will runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box and will be available in Pure White, Chic Pink and Aqua Blue.
