Asus Pegasus X002 Announces in China with 5-inch HD Display and 64-bit Processor


Asus has recently launched the Pegasus X002 smartphone in China with an affordable price of CNY799 (around RM450). Regardless its pricing, this budget Android phone still packing some pretty capable hardware that value for money.

The device sporting a 5 inch 1280 x 720 resolution IPS display. Under the hood, it is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6732 Quad-core 1.5 GHz CPU coupled with 2 GB of RAM and Mali-T760 GPU.


Other features included a 16 GB of expandable storage via microSD card up to 32 GB, 8 MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash, 5 MP selfie camera with large f/2.2 aperture and 80-degree wide angle lens and a 2,500 mAh battery.

Connectivity wise, it only support TD-LTE (which isn't supported in Malaysia), Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5 mm head-jack audio and GPS. The Pegasus X002 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat on top of the company's ZenUI. It is only available in China for now and no word on global availability.
