Sony Announces the Xperia T3, the World's Slimmest 5.3-inch Smartphone with Premium Design


Sony Mobile introduced a new member to its Xperia family, the mid-range Xperia T3. The Japanese company claims that it's super-slim Xperia T3 is the "world's slimmest" 5.3-inch smartphone at 7mm thick.

The Xperia T3 featuring a stainless steel chassis which gives it a premium looks and feels as well as solid design and build quality. This stylish and gorgeous device only weighs 148g despite being crafted with high-end materials.


This handset comes with a 5.3 inch HD (1280 x 720) Triluminos display with Mobile Bravia Engine 2. Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Quad-core 1.4 GHz processor alongside 1 GB of RAM. The Xperia T3 has 8 GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot that supports up to addition 32 GB.


The imaging part of the smartphone, it featuring an 8 MP Exmor RS rear camera with a LED flash and a 1.1 MP front-facing camera. There's also a dedicated shutter button on the side of the phone company with volume buttons and Sony's signature power button.

The Sony Xperia T3 is a LTE-enabled smartphone, runs Android 4.4 and powered by a 2,500 mAh battery. It will be release globally from July in Black, White and Purple, however Sony hasn't disclosed the price yet.
