Lenovo Vibe X Smartphone Debuts in Berlin, IFA 2013


A smartphone from Lenovo was shows off at the 2013 IFA consumers electronic show in Berlin - the Lenovo Vibe X, aka IdeaPhone S960. The flagship smartphone build with a premium polycarbonate body and laser-engraved 3D tactile finish. The overall design just weight 121g only and measuring just 6.9 mm thin.

Talk about the smartphone display, it comes with a 5 inch 20/20 Vision display with 1920 x 1080 full HD resolution, IPS technology,and ultra-sharp 440 pixels per inch (PPI). On top if that, the display is covered by a scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen.

Under its hood, the Vibe X is powered by a MediaTek SoC, a 1.5 GHz Quad-core MTK 6589T processor,  2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, 2000 mAh battery and running on Android 4.2.

Moreover, the Lenovo Vibe X is packed with a decent 13 MP auto focus main camera with a BSI sensor and LED flash. It has a 5 MP front facing camera with a wide angle 84 degree lens. The Vibe X comes preloaded with a full featured photo application that lets you organize your photos, easy sharing and quick editing photos.

The Lenovo Vibe X will selling in China first starting in October and available in other countries beginning in December.

UPDATE: The Vibe X Android Smartphone available in Malaysia for RM1,299.
