LG G4 Beat Debuted as a Mid-range Version of the Flagship LG G4

The Korean company has just expanded its G4 series of smartphone - called LG G4 Beat (or G4s for Europe region), a mid-tier package of its latest flagship LG G4 smartphone.

The brand new LG G4 Beat is a smaller and less powerful device than the current LG G4 with a 5.2-inch Full HD 1080p display and powered by an Octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz.

Camera wise, the new LG handset comes with an 8 MP rear camera with Color Spectrum Sensor and Laser Auto Focus (the rear camera will be 13 MP one in some Latin American countries). The front will sports a 5 MP shooter with Gesture Interval Shot for flawless selfie.

Other features included 4G LTE connectivity, NFC, 1.5 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, a 2,300 mAh removable battery and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box. The LG G4 Beat will be available in Metallic Silver, Ceramic White and Shiny Gold.

The device will be released this month in some key markets such as Europe and Latin America, before rolling out globally in markets such as Canada, India, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey and other countries. There's no word on the price of the LG G4 Beat yet.
