LG Wants You to Enjoy the Fun with Their Cute and Animated AKA Smartphone

LG launched the new AKA Android smartphone in their home land, South Korea. Each of the phones come with a personality and a front cover that mask three-fourths of the screen and reveals their animated eyes on the top.

The different cases transform the device into four different characters - Eggy (yellow), Wookie (white), Soul (blue) and YoYo (pink). These animated eyes show important information about the device such as notifications and battery status.

Meanwhile, you can play with the phone as the animated eye will have different expressions: when you shake the phone, you'll get 'dizzy' spiral eyes, when the battery is low, there's a sleepy eyes and when you plugged in a headphone, the character on the display will also have a headphone too.

The AKA sports a 5 inch HD 720p display, powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-core processor, 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. Other features are 8 MP rear camera with Laser Auto Focus, 2.1 MP front-shooter, NFC, 4G LTE, a microSD card slot and a 2,610 mAh removable battery.

The LG AKA will only be available in South Korea and it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. It won't be cheap as each of these cute phones will cost you a 500,000 Korean Won (around $460).
