HTC recently introduced trio smartphone to its Desire lineup which is entry-level and mid-range devices namely Desire 700, 501 and dual-SIM 601 in Taiwan.
First, meet the HTC Desire 700, a mid-range Android smartphone houses a 5 inch 960 x 540 qHD display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-core processor with 1 GB of RAM. Featuring BoomSound speakers on the front, a traditional 8 MP camera with BSI sensor and an f/2.0 aperture, and a 2.1 MP front camera. Other features are 8 GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, dual-SIM, HTC Zoe support and a 2,100 mAh battery.

On the other hand, the HTC Desire 501 is entry-level device packs a smaller 4.3 inch 480 x 800 WVGA display. Equipped with a 1.15 GHz Dual-core processor paired with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage with a microSD expansion slot. It also has a 8 MP BSI f/2.0 rear camera and a 88-degree wide-angle 2.1 MP front facing camera. Other specs include Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and a 2,100 mAh battery on board.
Last but not least, the HTC Desire 601 Dual-SIM sports a 4.5 inch 960 x 540 qHD display, 1.2 GHz Qual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of internal storage, a microSD expansion slot, dual-SIM support, 5 MP rear camera and VGA front facing camera, BoomSound stereo speakers and a 2,100 mAh battery.
As for pricing, the HTC Desire 700 is priced at NT$13,900 (around RM 1,390), Desire 501 at NT$9,900 (around RM990) and Desire 601 Dual-SIM at NT$10,900 (around RM1,090).
UPDATE: HTC Malaysia announces the arrival of dual-SIM HTC Desire 601 for RM1,099 and available in black or white.
