The Samsung Galaxy Smartwatch Prototype Leaked

Only a just few days left for the major trade show to take place at the IFA 2013 in Berlin. More and more rumors are appeared and leaked on the Internet. This round is the leaked photos of the Samsung Galaxy Smartwatch prototype.


The Samsung Galaxy Gear Smartwatch is scheduled to unveiled at the IFA 2013 and Samsung Unpacked Event. Looks like someone at the VentureBeat had a chance to spend some time hands on with the smartwatch.

The prototype spots a 3 inch high quality OLED display with a square screen, the screen resolution wasn't disclose. There is a big bezel at the top and bottom of the smartwatch which looks bulky.

According to VentureBeat, the prototype Galaxy Gear itself has a 4 MP camera build into the strap and a tiny speaker in the clasp. The camera can measure health data and a software that recognizes if the food is fat or contains grains.

Other specs that leaked included a 1.5 GHz Dual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM and 10 hours of battery life. It will have the Bluetooth 4.0 and will run on Android Jelly Bean. While the storage is offer up to 8GB or 16GB.
