LG Unveils the 6 inch Curved Display G Flex Smartphone with 'Self-Healing' Back Cover
The mystery of the LG's curved screen smartphone had comes to an end with the announcement of the company's curved display technology first applied on their new G Flex smartphone.
The curved screen uses the flexible OLED panels announced by the LG Display that undergo mass production earlier this month. It is the 6 inch OLED HD display with 1280 x 720 resolution (unfortunately not full HD) and it is curved from the top to bottom.

Under it's hood, it is powered by the world leading Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Quad-core 2.26 GHz processor and 2 GB of RAM. A 13 MP rear camera with LED flash is company by volume buttons and a power button, which reflex the design language of the G2. On the front, you'll get a 2.1 MP camera.
The LG G Flex comes with the features found in the G2 such as double tap to wake up the screen and dual-windows app. What's interesting is, there is self-healing technology applied on the back cover which repair light scratches within minutes. Behind the phone cover, there is a large 3,500 mAh battery.
The curved screen smartphone has 32 GB internal storage and support microSD card. It will runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. The G Flex will be available on Korea next month but the global release has yet to announce.
UPDATE: LG will launch the G Flex in Hong Kong on December 13th, while pre-order start on December 8th for Singapore. Soon to be followed by other key markets in Asia.
